Very nice couple run the place. Not the newest or nicest rooms but clean and very affordable and family friendly. 3 queen beds in one large room was perfect for a family of 6. Location is a short walk from an awesome beach and plenty of shopping and restaurants. Had a great vacation there!!

What we liked best was the lady who worked at the front desk was very accomodating because we came on our Harley and wanted a room downstairs where we could park the bike right outside the room and she arranged that for us. Plus, she was one of the nicest, friendliest hotel clerks we have ever encountered.
Well I really don't want to complain because like I said, the lady was wonderful, but the bed wasn't very comfortable and there was no coffee in the room for in the morning. Thats all.

The owner's truly care about pleasing their customers! We forgot our 1 year olds pack n play and they upgraded our room at no extra cost! We decided we wanted to stay an extra night and they gave us the same online rate we had booked! We payed the weekday rate for a Friday night!
This is an older hotel that could use some minor upgrades.

The price. I was just in town for a night and on a limited budget.
We had to drive to the beach because gates were locked. I chose the location specifically because it was walking distance to the lake. I was a bit annoyed that upon check in I was not informed and had to find out after we had walked down. The lady who checked us in was very nice, I dont think she realized the gates were locked at the lake.

Actually we moved down to the Cedar Inn because when we checked in at Tahoe Villa, the owner said they had a broken water heater so no hot water. She walked us down the street to the Cedar Inn which had a pool and same rate for 2 beds, etc. So since we just needed a place to sleep and shower, we stayed there. It was nice. Not great but good enough for the price. Owner was very accommodating.

It is a mom and pop kind of a lodge, the lady was very sweet and helpful. The location is perfect, and really good value for money.
There was no air conditioning, and in the afternoon it became a little hot, that is the only big concern if you are going there in the summer.

Rooms are very clean and comfortable, the owner of the hotel is very friendly to us. Lodge is only 15 mins walk to Heavenly Ski Base.
Heater in room is too hot even for winter and hard to adjust temperature.

Right next to the casinos. Cheaper than the casinos. Fridge and microwave in room. Free internet.
Only enough hot water for 1 person to shower. This was basically the cheapest hotel in the area, so you get what you pay for.

It is not a villa lodge ,it is a place for homeless and you pay for staying becouse they already deducted money from your credit card for the first night, and you canot leave.i left the next day after paing double the cost in another hotel, but 100 times better/
I didnot like it at all ,I had to fight with my family as they plamed me for chosen the warst place for them to stay in this dump.althogh lake tahoe is a great place to be,but starting with this hotel, almost made us to leave it.you should not have this cheap filthy place in your site ,it give a bad reputation about your site and your good name..
